Today I thought that I would share with you some tips and tricks to lead a healthier lifestyle while still enjoying the sweet things in life.
Here are a few simple things that you can do on a day to day basis to get healthy and fit:
1. Make healthier alternatives
Balance sweet food with healthy food, or make healthier alternatives!
Instead of having a sugary slurpee have a fresh fruit crush, or instead of having a chocolate chip muffin opt for a mixed berry muffin. If you are really craving that block of chocolate, treat yourself to a few pieces at the end of a long day.

Each smoothie has a benefit for your body - anti-inflammatory, beauty, cleanse, digestion, immunity, and recovery - while also looking absolutely delicious. Each smoothie comes with a recipe that is super simple to re-create, while also working wonders for the inside of your body. This is my favourite app at the moment - I absolutely love it! I am able to try a new healthy smoothie every day and not have to worry about breaking the bank. My fave smoothie from the app is Running Man. It gives me an energy boost right when I need it, with its fresh fruits, honey, ginger, and other yummy ingredients!

3. Fit in a quick exercise break
Whenever you get the chance, squeeze in a quick exercise break. This could be as simple as running on the spot for 1 minute, doing a few crunches, or doing a few star jumps. Even just jumping around for the duration of a fast paced song is great!
